13 ANNUAL REPORT EKT
A rather unusual but extremely successful conference was hosted by our organisation on 30/9/13 and
1/10/13. It was entitled; ‘Creativity: Innovative, Open and Economically Sustainable Models of Creative
Production’ and brought together people from a range of backgrounds including, academics, artists
and active young entrepreneurs, all of whom influenced the event in their own particular way.
The conference’s main aim was to promote new models of innovative creative production and
entrepreneurship, which can develop from the successful collaboration between organisations from
the scientific, technological and cultural sectors. Over the two days, the conference successfully
presented a combination of the latest technological advances and current artistic production through
new models of open creativity and the conditions they require.

The first day focused on showing the productive power of the creative sector. Indicative of this is
the development of digital applications and software, architecture, design, the production of cultural
content, advertising and so on. From the great interest shown by the participants, it is clear that
