contribution to economic and social reconstruction is recognised as being of great significance.
Their importance as an example of production is even greater if we consider that, no matter what
the form of production - self or mass-the creative industries depend primarily on co-operative
models and open structures.

Trending topics, such as 3D printing, the adoption of new practices in production and education were
practically analysed through three workshops which attracted much interest from and left a great
impression on the public.
The significance of the prefix ‘open’ was in little doubt; participants concluded that access, data and
information were all far more effective if ‘open’, while ‘openness’ to new funding models was essential
in developing a new scientific, business and cultural reality.
