At EKT, our mission is to collect, document,
manage, disseminate and preserve quality
digital content and data which are produced
by the Greek scientific, research and
cultural communities. Using ICT, a national
e-infrastructure has been developed for
access to reusable knowledge, the collecting
of information on Research, Development and
Innovation, as well as the transfer and reuse
of knowledge so as to foster sustainable
development.

We focus on the collection, documentation,
aggregation and long-term preservation of
quality digital content and data produced
by Greek scientific, research and cultural
communities. The aim is not only to make
this content accessible and reusable, through
value-added services, but also to use it for
the improvement of academic and cultural
communication, the support of research, the
enhancement of competitiveness in the public
and private sector, as well as life-long learning
and the publication of indicators which facilitate
the implementation of evidence-based policies.
